Experts from Switzerland and the UK cited in the report highlight that cities in the United Kingdom and Switzerland have a lot to learn from each other to achieve urban sustainability. 08/07/2010 Cleantech Information Service startedFFGS and Café Europe have initiated the "Informationsdienst Cleantech" (Cleantech News Service). This service aims to become the main information tool for executives working in the cleantech field. It should enable them to quickly access highly categorized information crucial to their business.

07/05/2010 swisscleantech in the U.S.swisscleantech is promoting Swiss Cleantech solutions in the U.S. Together with partners it has organized a Swiss-U.S. dialogue on green job creation in Washington DC. The goal was to link selected Swiss Cleantech companies in the fields of sustainable buildings and energy efficiency with projects and partners in the U.S. The prestigious Cleantech event took place in Capitol Hill (held with Federal President Doris Leuthard) and the Swiss Embassy in Washington DC. Also, swisscleanatech has participated in the Switzerland Sustainable Transportation Roundtable which took place on the Wold Trade Center San Diego. 11/01/2010 FFGS at swissbau 2010As part of the Forum 'Swissbau Real Estate' swisscleantech and the Center for Corporate Responsability and Sustainability at the University of Zurich (CCRS) are organizing the session "Sustainability: Fashion Trend or worthwile investment?". The forum takes place on Wednesday, January 13, 9:30 - 11:30. Its program includes lectures held by Nick Beglinger (swisscleantech), Florian Kuprecht (CB Richard Ellis) and Erika Meins (CCRS). 07/12/2009 Launch of swisscleantechTonight, on the first day of the Copenhagen climate conference, swisscleantech will be officially launched in Berne. The Swiss and Liechtenstein business association is proud of its +70 founding members of all sizes and from all industries. In a letter to the parlamentarians they call for a sustainable economic policy which embraces economic, social and ecological conditions. To further promote the dialogue between politics and business, the parlamentarian group Cleantech has been founded. The overall aim of these initiatives by FFGS is to position Switzerland as a Cleantech-Leader - to strenghten the Swiss competetiveness through sustainable growth.
